A platform built for the Central Valley — GCs find trusted trades, trades find real GC work. Invoicing, QuickBooks sync, and messaging all live inside the app.

Hiring in construction still runs on phone trees, word of mouth, and group texts. General contractors burn hours chasing down trades they trust. Trades — electricians, framers, HVAC, roofers — burn just as many trying to find steady GC work that actually pays on time. Billions of dollars of work moves this way, held together by paper and goodwill.

PunchVault is the connection layer. GCs post jobs. Trades get matched. Both sides can invoice, sync to QuickBooks Online, and message each other without leaving the app — no third-party Venmo screenshots, no lost email threads, no wondering where an invoice went.

The focus is the Central Valley. Not because the problem is smaller elsewhere, but because getting this right in one region — real contractors, real crews, real jobs — matters more than chasing coverage. Everything is in-house. Invoicing, payments, accounting integration, messaging. No bolted-on stack, no referral maze.

Currently in closed beta with users onboard and core features shipped. Going live end of April 2026. Next milestone: first paying customers.

This is also the first serious piece of software I've built end-to-end. I'm learning how to actually ship a platform — from schema to Stripe — in public, with real contractors counting on it. That pressure has been the best teacher.
