Build Bid Leveling Assistant
Compare subcontractor bids apples-to-apples — without the Excel sheet.
Drop in subcontractor bids as PDFs or emails. AI extracts line items, normalizes scope across vendors, and flags missing inclusions, exclusions, and pricing gaps before award.
Bid leveling is how a GC actually picks a sub. Four or five bids come in for the same scope, and someone has to compare them line by line — different formats, different categories, different exclusions, different allowances. Done manually in Excel by every estimator at every GC, every week. Hours of work, easy to miss something, and the gaps cost real money downstream.
The Bid Leveling Assistant is what that workflow should look like. Drop in the bids — PDFs, emails, whatever the subs sent. The AI extracts line items, normalizes scopes into comparable categories, and flags the things estimators usually catch by eye: missing inclusions, exclusions buried on page four, allowance differences, pricing gaps between vendors, inconsistencies one bid has and another doesn't.
What you get back is the apples-to-apples comparison that used to take an afternoon, with a risk summary on top. Where the bids diverge. Where one is suspiciously low because it's not actually bidding the same scope. The kind of pre-award read that prevents change orders later.
Audience is the GC, estimator, or purchasing team reviewing bids before award. Domain edge is the same as Listpaver — we know what bids actually look like, where the gaps usually hide, and what an estimator wants to see when they sit down to level them.
Currently in concept and workflow design. UI exploration started. Part of the Listpaver ecosystem — bid leveling is the step right before the award, which is the step right before the work that lives on Listpaver itself.
I'll build you one of your own.
